On September 17, 2018, California Governor Jerry Brown Signed Into Law SB-721 “The Balcony Inspection Bill.” The Bill arises in response to the tragic deaths of six UC Berkeley Students in 2015 at a downtown apartment complex due to the collapse of a balcony.

Typically conducted on a monthly basis, we can adapt to any institutions narrative Construction Bank Draw Schedule Inspection software program with videos and or photos.
To include but not limited to a site inspection to assist the lending institution in determining the appropriate release of construction funds.
The inspection evaluates the accuracy of the draw request, construction phase completion, stored materials on site, and that all construction work is in place per the plans and specifications prior to the release of funds.

This inspection is intended for virtually any type of building under construction, multi-family, mixed-use, single-family homes, additions and renovations. We’ll perform inspections during construction or arrive prior to the builder’s final walkthrough looking for any safety issues, defective materials, or improperly installed systems. With this information, you’ll be able to have the builders resolve any discovered issues before building close-out and final payment. This process will give you confidence and a peace of mind.

If your single-family home, condominium, multi-family, mixed-use, addition or renovation project is backed by a warranty from the contractor, you should have this inspection completed before the warranty expires. We’ll identify issues with the buildings readily accessible structure or installed systems, giving you a chance to see if necessary repairs are covered by your warranty while it’s still valid.
